Our Professional Staff
PJC Group is led by John H. Jordan who is the founder of the company. The managing partner, April J. Battiste-Reid, originally joined PJC Group in 2000 as a staff auditor. Together they work with our very capable staff on meeting the needs of our clients.
We have several additional staff members who are full-time, part-time or seasonal workers that are an integral part of the organization.
The staff at PJC Group considers the company one big family. With our rich history in Atlanta and the greater surrounding communities, we have invested much of our time in our commitment to servicing businesses in Georgia. This commitment to the business community has afforded us the ability to be pillars in the community by giving back through our service and volunteerism. This philosophy of giving and family was started by John H. Jordan in 1980 and is embedded in how we do business and it is the cornerstone as to why the average tenure of our personnel is ten years.

Our Team
John H, Jordan, Principal
John 40 years of experience in public accounting, serving a wide range of clients in the Public sector, not-for-profits, municipalities and other governments.
As engagement partner, John will lead and be responsible for coordinating the overall service of the engagement, contract administration, consulting on various auditing and reporting issues as they may occur during the engagement, and ensure timely and satisfactory completion of all services.
April J. Battiste, Managing Partner
April has more than 25 years of experience in public and private accounting, serving a wide range of clients in the Public sector, not-for-profits, municipalities and other governments; in addition to, higher-education institutions, manufacturing, financial services, real estate and behavioral health agencies.
As managing partner, April will coordinate the overall service to our clients, contract administration, planning of the day-to-day conduct of the audit, supervise staff, communicate reporting issues as they may occur during the engagement, and ensure timely and satisfactory completion of all services.
Coretta M. Stroud, Audit Supervisor
Coretta has more than 26 years of experience in public and private accounting serving a wide range of clients in the Public sector, not-for- profit, municipalities and other governments.
Roderick Burnside, Senior Auditor
Roderick is a U.S. Army Veteran who takes full responsibility for the supervision of financial statement engagements and less complex audits. Trains and supervise staff auditors.
Shardae Whitehead, Scheduling Manager and Auditor
Here at PJC Group Shardae deals with various roles around the office, some include addressing any scheduling concerns and issues, resolving them promptly and efficiently. Working with the team to organize tasks and projects. Connecting with our Clients to make sure their needs are met.
Josh Clark, Tax Manager/Single Audit Specialist
Josh Clark has a long history with PJC Group. He is a major part in our individual and business tax planning and preparation, working with our clients to ensure they get the highest quality of service. Josh has over 10 years of single audit experience some of the federal programs include CDBG, HOME, ESG, and Ryan-White.
